Mornings can be tough, especially when your bed is warm and cosy. We’ve put together this delicious, protein-packed snack to make your mornings a lot more marvellous. You’ll be excited to jump out from under the covers and dive into this one for breakfast!
Ingredients
1⁄4 cup (60ml) dairy-free milk
1⁄4 cup (25g) rolled oats (or brown rice flakes or quinoa flakes if gluten-free)
30g vanilla protein powder
2 tbsp water
1 tsp maple syrup
1⁄4 tsp mixed spice
1⁄2 medium banana sliced
3 walnuts chopped
2 tbsp fresh mixed berries
Method
Combine all ingredients except walnuts and berries, and mix well.
Transfer to a glass or bowl and leave for 5-10 minutes, or cover and refrigerate overnight for a ready-to-go breakfast.
Serve topped with walnuts and berries.
